What sizes of dumpsters do you offer?
We offer 16-yard and 20-yard dumpster rentals for residential and commercial cleanup projects. The 16-yard dumpster is a great option for home cleanouts, garage cleanups, small remodeling projects, and yard debris. The 20-yard dumpster is better for larger cleanouts, roofing jobs, construction debris, and bigger remodeling projects.
What can I put in the dumpster?
You can use our dumpsters for household junk, remodeling debris, construction debris, roofing materials, wood, flooring, furniture, yard waste, and general cleanup materials. If you are unsure about a specific item, please contact us before loading it.
How long can I keep the dumpster?
Our dumpster rentals include up to 4 days. If you need the dumpster longer, please contact us to discuss availability and additional time.
How much does it cost to rent a dumpster?

Do I need a permit to place the dumpster on my property?
Usually, no permit is needed when the dumpster is placed on private property, such as your driveway. If the dumpster needs to be placed on a public street, alley, or roadway, a permit may be required depending on the city or township.
How full can I fill my dumpster?
Please do not fill above the top edge of the dumpster. Materials must stay level with or below the fill line for safe pickup and transportation.
What items are not allowed in the dumpster?
Prohibited items include fuel, batteries, tires, propane tanks, asbestos, pesticides, Freon, liquid chemicals, and hazardous materials. If you are unsure whether an item is allowed, call before placing it in the dumpster.
Can I place my dumpster in the street?
In some areas, yes, but a permit may be required. If a permit is not available, the dumpster will need to be placed on your driveway or another approved private-property location.
Do you provide driveway protection?
Rent-A-Man Dumpster Rentals takes care when placing dumpsters on residential properties. Placement depends on the surface, access, driveway condition, and available space.
Can you guarantee delivery or pickup times?
We do our best to schedule delivery and pickup as closely as possible to the requested time. Exact times may vary due to traffic, weather, jobsite delays, and scheduling.
Is weight included in the price?
Yes. The 16-yard dumpster includes 2,000 lbs, and the 20-yard dumpster includes 4,000 lbs. Additional weight may result in extra charges.
